Jinergy’s HJT Module Won “Golden Module” Award

During August 22 to August 23, 3019, the Second Seminar on Bifacial Power Generation and Grid Parity Technology Routes was held in Suzhou and at the same time, the “2019 Photovoltaic Technology Guide Award” was also held. By virtue of its innovative breakthrough in the field of super high efficiency HJT technology, Jinergy’s 450W super high efficiency HJT module won the “Golden Module” Award.

This is another affirmation to Jinergy’s HJT module after it won the “2018 Photovoltaic HJT Module Industry Leader” award in January this year. Last year, Jinergy became the first photovoltaic enterprise to receive the HJT monocrystal dual-glass bifacial module certification under new IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard and successively entered the DEWA List of the United Arab Emirates and JPAC list of Japan, proving that Jinergy’s HJT has excellent performance in power generation efficiency and reliability.

With the fierce competition of various photovoltaic technologies, photovoltaic cell and module technologies have entered a period of rapid iteration. Some industry insiders said that HJT module was one of the most promising photovoltaic modules. At present, most domestic enterprises that have mass production or planned mass production of HJT cell are still in the pilot stage while Jinergy has taken the lead in establishing an HJT production line that can achieve mass production and promotion.

In terms of conversion efficiency of HJT, Jinergy has achieved a breakthrough in both the average efficiency and the highest efficiency, with the average efficiency reaching 23.79% and the highest efficiency reaching 24.73%. Tested by TUV Rheinland, the bifaciality of this module has reached 93%, and the front-side power output of 72-cell HJT module has reached 406.6W without using technologies such as large wafer and half-cut. While achieving double breakthrough in product efficiency, the yield of Jinergy’s HJT products also keeps a high level. According to the production data released by the company in March 2019, the average yield of its HJT mass production was 98.29%.

Dr. Liyou Yang, general manager of Jinergy, said, “This award is a reaffirmation to our HJT module technology. In the future, we will continue to increase the R&D and production in this field, improve the technical process, break through the technical difficulties, further drive down the cost of HJT, improve the overall income of the power station project, and achieve a breakthrough reduction in photovoltaic LCOE.”
