On September 29, the Shanxi (a landlocked province just west of Beijing) Week of the 2025 Osaka Expo in Japan grandly kicked off under the theme “Future Energy, Green Shanxi”. During the same period, at China (Shanxi) – Japan Energy Industry Promotion Conference, Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinergy”), as a representative of Shanxi’s new energy industry, attracted widespread attention for its technological strength and innovative achievements.
At the promotion event, focused on the theme “The Transformation Path from ‘Black Gold’ to ‘Green Gold’”, Shanxi delegation comprehensively introduced the province’s innovative practices in the energy sector. As a participant in building a green and low-carbon energy system, Jinergy showcased its major breakthroughs in technological R&D: its 166-size perovskite-silicon tandem cells have obtained a certified efficiency of 26.1%, with a laboratory efficiency reaching as high as 31.3%; its mainstream TOPCon photovoltaic cells achieve a mass-produced average photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 26.8%, peaking at 27.1%, both exceeding the industry average and demonstrating its leading position in high-efficiency PV technology. In response to Japan’s limited land resources, widespread wooden rooftops and frequent natural disasters, Jinergy has worked diligently since 2016, launching lightweight PV modules weighing only 16 kg and with compressive strength meeting IEC standards, as well as high-pressure resistant modules certified by IEC 62730 with significantly improved load capacity.
In addition, Jinergy successfully signed a solar module sales cooperation agreement with Japan’s UCL Co., Ltd. Japanese Sunenergy firm expressed strong interest in the promoted products and made clear procurement intentions on site. One-on-one business meetings were also arranged at the promotion conference, where key energy enterprises from Shanxi precisely aligned with the needs of several well-known Japanese companies, effectively driving substantive progress in cooperation.
