Innovation-Driven Green Manufacturing

On November 12th, a reporter visited the TOPCon intelligent manufacturing workshop of Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinergy”) in Jinzhong Development Zone, Shanxi (a landlocked province just west of Beijing) Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone. The workshop was bustling with AGV transport robots moving about in an orderly manner. Large screens above the workshop displayed real-time data, including equipment utilization rates, finished product yield, and daily production capacity of the production lines.
The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee proposed: "Build a modernized industrial system and reinforce the foundations of the real economy." As the "chain leader" enterprise in our province's PV industry, Jinergy has been deeply engaged in midstream photovoltaic equipment manufacturing. Through continuous innovation in photovoltaic cells and modules, the company has been awarded numerous honors, including "National Green Factory" and "National Enterprise Technology Center."
"Intelligentization and greenization have always been the key focuses of Jinergy," said Zhang Yongqian, Director of Cell Production at Jinergy. "Since the company established its TOPCon intelligent manufacturing production line, production speed has significantly increased by 45.16% compared with the previous generation of technology, rising from 3100 cells per hour to 4500 cells per hour. Currently, the maximum efficiency of mass-produced TOPCon cells reaches 27.1%, while the efficiency of perovskite-silicon tandem cells has exceeded 31.3%. In addition, by optimizing production processes and reducing downtime, Jinergy has shortened the overall production cycle by 25%. Through accurate production planning and material demand forecasting, the accuracy of raw material BOM has increased from 90% to 99%. With the introduction of AGV robots and automated equipment, manual operations have been reduced by 70%, enabling employees to focus on higher-value tasks.
Zhang Jie, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Chairman of Jinergy, stated that the company will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Plenary Session and integrate it into the entire corporate development strategy and daily operations. Moving forward, driven by digitalization, the company will continuously optimize production processes, enhancing production efficiency while placing a greater emphasis on the meticulous refinement of product quality. Jinergy will also increase investment in "original R&D", encourage innovative thinking, cultivate innovative talent, and build a sound innovative ecosystem to ensure that the company gains an advantageous position in the competition for next-generation technology, continuously contributing to the construction of a modern industrial system supported by advanced manufacturing.
