International young people visited Jinergy and witnessed the progress of energy transformation!
Energy is an important material basis for human survival and development. Today, with the rapid development of energy application level, low-carbon energy and green development have become the main theme of the world, aiming at building a high-quality sustainable future. September ，the “2023 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum” comes to a successful conclusion. During the Forum, 18 international young people from 11 countries covering 5 continents came to Shanxi and closely explored the green transformation path of China’s major energy province. On September 6, international young people visited the intelligent manufacturing workshop of Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinergy” or the “Company”). After the visit, Jennifer Courtney Holstein from the United States said excitedly: “In the cell workshop and module production workshop, the highly automated and intelligent production line has greatly widened my horizon, and Shanxi has made a lot of contributions to promoting the low-carbon development of energy!”
Explore low-carbon development in Jinergy
The “China Tour for International Young People” activity, sponsored by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS) and hosted by Shanxi Daily, made practical comments for better interpretation of the spirit of Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum. According to Shanxi Daily, “After wearing dust jackets, hats, masks and shoe covers, the international young people entered the intelligent manufacturing workshop of Jinergy, accompanied by the Company’s specially assigned personnel. At the moment, the intelligent production lines are running in an orderly manner. After a series of processes such as texturing, diffusion, etching, PECVD, printing, test and sorter, a piece of cell is quickly complete,, transferred to the assembly workshop, and then stringing and tandem. The cell is laminated at high temperature to the middle of the PV glass and back sheet with high light transmittance, and after the auto framing, it goes through the process of wiring, curing, testing, etc., and a qualified solar module is successfully produced.
The intelligent manufacturing workshop created by Jinergy is the epitome of Shanxi’s construction of a new energy system, and it is also a visual sample for Shanxi enterprises to explore green and high-quality development. In August this year, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shanxi Province, Shanxi Development and Reform Commission, and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province jointly issued the “14th Five-Year Plan” for the Development of Low-carbon Environmental Protection Industry in Shanxi Province, “By 2025, we shall make breakthroughs in core technologies in key areas of low-carbon environmental protection, promote a number of domestic advanced technology and equipment products, establish a number of low-carbon environmental protection industrial demonstration parks, cultivate a number of domestic competitive low-carbon environmental protection service enterprises, and provide strong support for the green and low-carbon development of industries.” Jinergy’s high-efficiency N-type HJT solar modules are cutting-edge products with domestic advanced levels , and lay a solid foundation for the latest plan of Shanxi Province.
For the Company’s advanced technical equipment products, Huang Jin, Jinergy’s Research and Development (R&D) Manager, made a detailed introduction to the international young people, “Jinergy adheres to the technology iteration strategy of keeping one generation in mass production, one generation in pilot production and one generation in R&D, namely to conduct layout of three generations of products simultaneously. At present, based on the PERC cell technology, we have developed more efficient Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) cells and Heterojunction (HJT) cells while conducting R&D on HJT+ perovskite / Heterojunction Back Contact (HBC) cells, thus continuously improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) cells and reduce the construction cost and LCOE of users.”
