General Manager YANG Liyou Attended the SNEC 2023 Global Green Energy Leaders Dialogue to Talk about New Ideas for Development of PV Industry

On May 23, 2023, the 16th Global Green Energy Leaders Dialogue was held in Kerry Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai. The top industry leaders gathered at the forum to exchange ideas and focused on the theme of energy upgrading to share innovative development solutions. Dr. YANG Liyou, General Manager of Jinergy, gave a keynote speech on “Achieving Energy Transition”, focusing on sharing the new long-range plan of Jinneng Holding Group to build a comprehensive energy group, the new layout of Jinergy’s holistic N-type ecology, and explaining Jinergy's long-term goal of “Achieving Energy Transition” from the perspective of strategy and technology.

 

The “Global Green Energy Leaders Dialogue” invited global green energy organizations, industry experts, industry representatives and other guests to carry out discussion and in-depth analysis on topics such as “the future world green energy development pattern and industry opportunities” and “the opportunities and challenges for PV industry”, which acts as wind vane for the development of PV industry.

 

Under the guidance of the “30·60” carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, Jinergy has not only focused on the vertical development of the PV industry, but also actively coordinated with the parent company Jinneng Group to carry out the horizontal integration of traditional energy and new energy. In the future, the mass production cost of HJT will be further promoted to be even with that of PERC. Moreover, Jinergy has made the layout of tandem cell, XBC and other third-generation cell technologies, and deepened cooperation with domestic academic institutions and research institutions to continue to broaden the upgrading route of PV products.

During the dialogue session, YANG Liyou, together with GAO Jifan (Chairman of Trina Solar), HOU Jinlong (President of Huawei Digital Energy Technology), LIU Yong (Chairman of DAS SOLAR), SHI Yonghong (Vice-President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products), DAI Qinghua (Chairman of SANY Silicon Energy), ZHONG Baoshen (Chairman of Longi Green Energy Technology) and other industry leaders, exchanged new ideas for the high-quality development of PV clean energy.

 

YANG Liyou introduced the current situation of energy transition in Northwest China during the dialogue. He believes that the single resource-based (coal-based) economic structure represented by Shanxi is in urgent need of transformation. To change the coal-based energy structure and develop new energy is highly linked to local economic development. Resource-based economy will eventually turn to innovation-based economy.

 

In this context, Jinergy would give full play to its advantages in the PV industry, and tackle the difficulties of PV technologies to facilitate the progress of the PV industry and the development of the next-generation PV products. Besides, Jinergy will coordinate with Jinneng Holding Group to provide reliable energy for the market and complete the “underpinning” mission of a state-owned enterprise.
