Jinergy Attends 2021 China Clean Energy Science and Technology Capital Summit to Deeply Analyze HJT Industrialization Trend

In 2020, the proportion of China coal consumption in total energy consumption has decreased by 13.4 percentage points compared with a decade ago, but it is still as high as 56.8%.Dr. Liyou Yang, general manager of Jinergy, said: "under the background of dual carbon, it is the general trend for traditional energy enterprises to turn to clean energy.Take Jinneng Holding Group, which is the parenting group of Jinergy, as an example. Jinneng Holding has a coal production capacity of 0.4 billion tons, total assets of 1.1 trillion yuan, and GDP accounts for nearly half of Shanxi Province.In recent years, Jinneng Group has actively adjusted its production capacity layout. Among the total installed capacity of 38.15GW, new energy installed capacity accounts for 5.92GW, and plans to reach 30GW during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.The key to solving the problem of carbon emissions lies in the transformation of the energy structure. At this point, the state-owned enterprises represented by Jinneng Holding Group have always been at the forefront of responding to the national policy."

Subsequently, Dr. Liyou Yang delivered a speech on the theme of "Industrialization Trend of New PV cell Technology HJT". He said: "The PV industry is a technology-driven industry. In terms of technology iteration, the current mono PERC, accounting for more than 95% of the market, has completed a complete upgrade from efficiency to cost.However, the trend of upgrading is still continuing, new technologies are constantly improving, and the cost compression space for bulk materials such as glass, back panels, and brackets is already very small. The conversion efficiency of cell and module is the most important technical core of PV power generation. High-efficiency technology means lower dependence on supporting products, which will bring lower power costs and stronger independent operation capabilities.HJT is a future technology with high efficiency potential. Compared with conventional module, HJT has better performance. It has the characteristics of low temperature coefficient, 93% bifaciality, no degradation, etc.The measured data of Jinergy power station operation show that HJT's power generation per watt on one side can be increased by about 17%, which has obvious effect on reducing LCOE and operation and maintenance costs.From a long-term perspective, efficient technology led by HJT is the future choice."

Jinergy is also working with partners in the industry chain to build the HJT R & D ecosystem and is committed to promoting HJT costs to align with PERC.At present, great achievements have been made in the field of silver paste and target materials, and the deep focus silver/copper technology has verified its reliability on the production line, and stricter reliability experiments are being carried out, which can probably reduce the cost of slurry by 20%-50%.Combined with flaking technology, HJT will be 130 microns, the overall single-watt cost is expected to be the same as the current PERC cost in the future, when the efficiency advantage of HJT will be more prominent.
