Jinergy's Newly Upgraded Products Were Listed by Brazil INMETRO

Recently, Jinergy's newly upgraded module products have been successfully listed by Brazil INMETRO. The high standard and authority of this listing is unquestionable in the Brazilian photovoltaic industry. In the face of the increasingly competitive global photovoltaic market, passing the listing audit indicates that Jinergy's newly upgraded module products have reached the Brazilian national standard. This also means that Jinergy and its Brazilian partners will establish a deeper relationship of trust.

In 2014, the Brazilian government launched the first round of large-scale bidding, which gave a breakthrough in large-scale projects in Brazil. From 2014 to 2019, Brazil has completed 7 rounds of photovoltaic bidding. In addition, at the end of 2015, in order to encourage the development of distributed energy, the Brazilian government encouraged the public to install distributed power stations by reducing taxes and fees and providing credit lines. Brazil’s photovoltaic market has progressed from the embryonic stage in 2012 to the present stage of rapid growth. As of the end of 2019, Brazil’s cumulative photovoltaic installation has reached 4.4GW, of which the cumulative installation of distributed projects has reached 1.9GW, and that of large-scale ground projects is about 2.5GW.

According to the latest report released by Greener, an industry consultancy in Brazil, despite the impact of the COVID-19, the Brazilian photovoltaic market maintained a relatively stable growth in the first half of the year, with only a slight decrease in new installed photovoltaic capacity but a significant increase in imports of photovoltaic modules, inverters and other products.Although the Brazilian photovoltaic market has a bright future, in order to ensure that the power generation performance of modules meets the Brazilian national standards, all photovoltaic products exported to Brazil must obtain the INMETRO listing before entering the Brazilian market.

The newly upgraded module products have passed the authoritative INMETRO listing, which will become a key step in the implementation of Jinergy's strategy in the Brazilian market. At present, the Company has provided high-efficiency and high-quality solar modules to more than ten countries including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Germany, Ukraine, India, and Pakistan. In the future, Jinergy will continue to lead the industrial progress with technological innovation, bring China's advanced photovoltaic manufacturing technology to the world, and promote the transformation of the global energy structure.
