Since April this year, the State has continuously adjusted the policy of new energy power generation and gradually accelerated the process of subsidy removal, thus to make clearer the market-oriented development direction of photovoltaic industry, promote photovoltaic enterprises to take “quality improving and cost reducing” as the goal, and strengthen technological innovation and industry transformation. In July, the National Energy Administration officially released the inclusion of photovoltaic bidding projects in the subsidy scope of 2019. Through carrying out the bidding, the decline of photovoltaic subsidy appears, marking the beginning of the new era of power bidding. It is believed in the industry that the gradual release of bidding projects will further drive the growth of domestic market and may usher in a new round of market opportunities in the second half of the year.
Recently, Jinneng Clean Energy, the clean energy section of Jinneng Group, announced that the three power station projects previously declared by the company, namely Shanyin 80MW, Tianzhen 70MW and Huairen 100MW, are all included in the list of national photovoltaic power generation bidding projects, and have been formally put on record by the Energy Administration of Shanxi Province. The company said that the successful bidding and putting on records of the three photovoltaic bidding projects have injected new momentum into the development and growth of the Group’s clean energy industry.
It is reported that the three projects all adoptJinergy’shigh-efficiency polycrystalline modules to make the bidding scheme. Jinergy’s high-efficiency monocrystalline PERC modules have excellent anti-degradation performance through optimization of coating and passivation processes, as well as strict control of raw materials and processes. The degradation of the modules after passing three times IEC test is still less than 5%, showing excellent performance of low degradation.
Thanks to the excellent conversion efficiency and low degradation performance, Jinergy’shigh-efficiency polycrystalline modules have been applied in many top-runner projects. In the operation of the first-phase photovoltaic power generation application top-runner base in Datong, the empirical monitoring degradation rate of Jinergy’s high-efficiency polycrystalline modules in each month was far lower than the standard stipulated in the bidding documents that the degradation rate of the first year should not be more than 2.5%, and thereafter, the annual degradation rate should not be more than 0.7%.
Dr. Liyou Yang, general manager of Jinergy, said, “In the future, we will continue to focus on the R&D and mass production application of innovative technologies, and meet the growing needs of domestic and foreign markets with diversified products and professional services. We have the ability and confidence to further study the technology to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement and maintain strong competitiveness in the photovoltaic market.”
