Jinneng Group Served as the “Pacesetter of Energy Revolution” in Shanxi Province
In the morning of October 22, the opening ceremony of 2019 Taiyuan Energy & Low Carbon Development Forum, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Energy Administration and the People’s Government of Shanxi Province, was held in China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center. The World Energy Revolution Exhibition was held during the same period. The super high-efficiency 450W HJT module of Jinneng Group’s clean energy segment was exhibited at the international exhibition hall.
At the sub-forum themed by “Discussion on Bottleneck Problems for Development of New Energy”, eight guests from home and abroad exchanged in-depth views on the development of new energy, shared advanced ideas and successful experience, and looked into the future development direction and prospect. Xuzhong Chen, deputy secretary of party committee and general manager of the Group, made a keynote speech entitled Jinneng Group’s Outlook on Clean Energy. In his keynote speech, he introduced the Group’s general situation, development strategy, industrial structure and achievements made in the development of clean energy industry, analyzed the prospect of clean energy generation and manufacturing, and looked into the future development of the Group’s clean energy. Chen said that Jinneng Group would continue to implement the arrangement and deployment of Shanxi Province for building the comprehensive reform pilot of energy revolution with practical actions, strive to build a first-class clean energy group, becommitted to being an integrated supplier of clean energy and contribute to the global clean energy industry.
In recent years, Shanxi has vigorously promoted new energy projects focusing on wind power and photovoltaic power, and the installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the province has been developing rapidly.In the past three years, the annual growth rate of the installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation reached 16.3% and 70.9% respectively, making them the second and third largest power sources in the province. The installed scale of wind power has exceeded 10 million kilowatts, officially ranking among the provinces with the largest wind power capacity of ten-million kilowatts. The scale of photovoltaic power generation has reached 4 million kilowatts, ranking the first in China.
As one of the provincial backbone enterprises, Jinneng Groupadheres to the development ideas of “scale development of clean energy, clean production of traditional energy, and low-carbon utilization of high carbon energy”, aims to build a “first-class clean energy group”, and strives to be the “pacesetter” of energy revolution in Shanxi Province. Jinergy, an intelligent photovoltaic manufacturing enterprise of Jinneng Group, has made layout of three generations of advanced technologies including high-efficiency polycrystalline module, high-efficiency PERC monocrystalline module and super high efficiency HJT module, and established the cell and module production capacity with the world’s top 5% most technological and cost competitiveness. At present, the average mass production efficiency of Jinergy’s super high efficiency cell has reached 23.85%, and the highest efficiency has reached 24.73% while the bifaciality of the super high-efficiency HJT module has reached 93%.
While yielding results in technological innovation, Jinergy always adheres to the implementation of “the Belt and Road” Initiative and actively expands its global layout. At present, its photovoltaic module products have been exported to India, Japan, South Korea, Argentina, Ukraine, Singapore, Australia and other countries and regions.
In the same period, the list of the World’s Top 500 New Energy Enterprises in 2019 was announced, and clean energy sector of Jinneng Group jumped to rank the 180th.
