Jinergy Ranked Second Largest PV Exporter to India

Recently released economic data 2018 shows that Shanxi Province is moving up steadily in the ranking of economic aggregate and economic growth throughout the country. Customs data of Taiyuan announces that Shanxi’s total import and export value in 2018 reaches RMB 136.99 billion, 17.8% higher than 2017 and 8.1% greater than the average growth nationwide, ranking at No. 9 and setting a new record.

Jinergy, a PV manufacturer and member of clean energy sector of Jinneng Group, stands out among many exporters. Preliminary statistics shows that Jinergy’s overseas shipments in 2018 accounts for 40% of the total shipment, representing a great achievement in the overseas market since its initial production in 2014. Last year, with advanced modules, reliable services and powerful influence, Jinergy has accomplished over 600MW shipments and nearly 10% market share in India, hence was ranked at the second place among all Chinese module exporters to India.

According to the information provided by professional statistical agency PV Infolink, Chinese PV manufacturers have exported about 6.7GW modules to India in 2018, accounting for over 70% market share. Jinergy works with Softbar and other international giants to march into Inida rapidly. High quality and high efficiency of Jinergy products have been recognized by its international and local partners.

PVInfolink’s forecast indicates a broad prospect that demands for PV modules worldwide will increase to around 112GW in 2019 from 91.5GW in 2018. Under such circumstance, Jinergy has established new targets. Dr. Yang Liyou, General Manager of Jinergy, expressed that, “Jinergy always sees iterative technological innovation as its core strength in an intensely competitive world. That’s why it has set up 3 major product systems, namely, high efficiency poly module, PERC mono module and super high efficiency HJT module. The Company will keep studying and developing new technologies, expanding large-scale mass production of high efficiency modules and focusing on the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative and emerging markets, to expand its overseas shipments and global influence.”
