During September 16th to 18th, China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the “Energy Expo”), jointly organized by the People's Government of Shanxi Province, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, was held in Taiyuan. As the No. 1 PV module manufacturer in Shanxi, Jinergy showcased its three high-end technology products — high efficiency polycrystalline module, high efficiency monocrystalline PERC module and ultra-high efficiency heterojunction module.
As the only national level professional international exhibition in Shanxi Province, the Energy Expo is an important communication platform for Shanxi Province to be open to the outside world. With the theme of “low-carbon leadership, smart energy, innovation and development”, the Energy Expo, highlighting key and new technologies in the energy field, as well as new technologies and applications from research institutes, enterprise R&D centers, and international R&D institutions, has attracted more than 300 companies and merchants from nearly 30 countries and regions.
As energy conservation and environmental protection have become the main theme during the development of society and enterprises, Jinneng Group, one of Top Seven coal groups in Shanxi, has seized the major opportunity, i.e. the energy revolution and the transformation and development of Shanxi, in recent years, and has set out on the stage of coal-electricity integration, green development, and construction of a first-class modernized comprehensive energy group. In the critical period of accelerating grid parity, Jinergy's innovative technology — HJT (heterojunction), has also been highly anticipated by the industry. Since the mass production of HJT modules in July 2017, the product yield has remained at a high level. During the test classification in this March, HJT production yield exceeded 97.42%. At present, the highest efficiency of Jinergy HJT cell in mass production can reach 23.5%. Without resorting to efficiency-promoting technologies like half-cut, MBB and other modules, the maximum power of 60-cell single-sided modules in mass production is up to 332.6W, and bifaciality reached 89.61%.
