Jinergy Has Supplied 75MW of Top Runner Modules for the First Batch of Photovoltaic Poverty Alleviation Projects in "the 13th Five-Year Plan" and Helped 1,125 Households Increase Income
Recently, Jinergy, the leading photovoltaic module manufacturer in Shanxi, announced that the Company has provided a total of 75MW high efficiency polycrystalline photovoltaic modules meeting the “top-runner” standards for the first batch of photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects in “the 13th Five-Year Plan”. All these photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects were successfully connected to gird before price adjustment. These Projects have benefited six districts and counties in Shanxi and helped 1,125 households realize stable income increase and poverty alleviation.
In late 2017, the National Energy Administration and the State Council jointly issued Notice on the Plan to Release the First Batch of Photovoltaic Poverty Alleviation Projects in “the 13th Five-Year Plan”, announcing the plan of photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects of 8,689 village-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation power plants with the total installed capacity of 4GW. Among them, Shanxi is the important battlefield for national poverty alleviation.
According to public data, there are 36 state-level poverty-stricken counties and 22 provincial-level poverty-stricken counties among the 119 counties in Shanxi Province. The poverty-stricken people are mainly in areas with fragile ecological environment, lagging industrial development and weak infrastructure. In 2017, Shanxi identified 10 counties including Jingle County and Ningwu County as deeply poverty-stricken counties through big data analysis and field researches.
The photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects that Jinergy has deeply participated in this time are over 350 poverty alleviation projects located in Dai County, Ningwu, Jingle, Shenchi, Wutai, Fanzhi and other places in Shanxi Province.
