The 9th Shanxi Businessmen Annual Meeting Held in Beijing – JINERGY QIAO Kai Won Top 10 Excellent Shanxi Businessmen Award 2017

On December 16th, the 9th Shanxi Businessmen Annual Meeting sponsored by China Shanxi Businessmen Club was held in Beijing and over 100 Shanxi businessmen got together in the capital city from across the world. QIAO Kai, GM of JINERGY, the leading PV modules manufacturer of Shanxi, was invited to attend the meeting and had an in-depth discussion with the guests on the topics about how JINERGY sought for green transformation and created a new path for development of energy. QIAO Kai also won the Top 10 Excellent Shanxi Businessmen Award 2017 for his outstanding contribution to the development of PV industry and exploration of Shanxi energy transformation.

The Shanxi Business Annual Meeting was themed by “integration” and the gathering of Shanxi businessmen from across the world represented their integration into Shanxi business biology and their combination for creation of the economically green transformation road, allowing Shanxi business brands and culture to meet the new opportunities in the new age under the new challenges. With the opportunity, as the key energy base and coal province, Shanxi is now making active efforts to achieve the transformation to new energy and Shanxi enterprises spontaneously shoulder the key responsibilities for promotion of energy reform. The constantly strongly growing PV power generation business has become one of the best solution to energy optimization and reform. 

Since 2017, driven by both the policy and market demands of China, the PV power generation industry has achieved a fast growth and the installed PV power generation capacity of the country has reached up to 120,000,000KW, promoting the reform of Chinese energy suppliers to march towards a new age. As a matter of fact,the installed capacity exceeded expectation frequently; the rapid reduction of the whole-chain cost of PV industry is one of the major reasons. 

QIAO Kai agreed with it totally and he expressed, “the constant increase of industry demands will greatly promote the advancement of technologies and drive the constant reduction of costs, forming a positive industry feedback. In 2017, we strictly followed the core strategy of “production, pilot test, research and development generation by generation” and realized the layout of three generation cutting-edge technologies i.e. high-efficiency polycrystalline, PERC mono crystalline and super high-efficiency heterojunction, and accordingly shaped a world-leading manufacturer of cells and modules with the world’s top 5% technical and cost competitiveness. Meanwhile, our independently-developed high-efficiency products have also been sold to various countries of the world and won high-profile endorsement from markets at home and abroad”. 

By far JINERGY has realized the layout of three generation cutting-edge technologies, i.e. high-efficiency polycrystalline, PERC mono crystalline and super high-efficiency heterojunction. Among them, the 280W polycrystalline PV modules and 305W PERC monocrystalline PV modules of JINERGY have already realized mass production and it’s expected that the power of PERC modules may reach 310W; the power of innovative HJT72 double-sided modules has reached 400W and the cell mass production efficiency has exceeded 22.5%.

Besides, as the bellwether of Shanxi energy reform, JINERGY also seized the overseas opportunities and has successively delivered batches of high-efficiency modules to power stations of Pakistan and Australia.
