Innovative Technologies Drives Industrial Transformation – JINERGY Ascends to Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises
On December 12th, Chinese Energy News and China Institute of Energy Economics jointly released the list of Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises at the “Belt and Road” International Energy Summit Forum held in Beijing. JINERGY, the leading PV modules manufacturer of Shanxi Province was short-listed and it was the second time for JINERGY to ascend to the Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises.
As the key wind vane of the new energy industry, the list of Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises has attracted wide attention of the industry since its first official release in 2011. The selection activity was conducted in accordance with international practices based on the operation revenue (calculated in RMB) of the candidates in the previous year with an aim to create an objective authoritative ranking of global new energy enterprises. Among the enterprises included in the list of the Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises, the minimum operation revenue has reached a new height, exceeding the 1 billion for the first time and reaching RMB 1.185 billion Yuan, i.e. RMB 427 million Yuan more than that of the minimum operation revenue RMB 758 million Yuan of Top 500 in the year of 2016, and the short-listed threshold was 3.21 times of that of 2016 (RMB133million).
Besides successfully being included into the list of Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises, JINERGY was also awarded the Innovative Enterprise for Science and Technology. In recent years, the company strictly followed the progressive development strategy of “production, pilot test, research and development generation by generation”, took the lead to complete the layout of three generation cutting-edge technologies i.e. high-efficiency polycrystalline, PERC mono crystalline and super high-efficiency heterojunction, and became the true pacemaker of the industry.
In the roundtable dialogue themed by “New Time, New Energy Enterprises and New Opportunities”, QIAO Kai, Deputy GM of JINERGY expressed, “As a representative of PV smart manufacturing, JINERGY is embracing the Internet Plus. JINERGY has built over 1,000 country-level PV power stations in the key areas for poverty reduction of Shanxi and the total capacity has exceeded 100MW. With the power grid operated by Jinneng Group, JINERGY has realized the intelligent operation and monitoring of the scattered country-level poverty-relieved power plants. As a manufacturer, JINERGY will invest more efforts in creating intelligent modules”.
