On March 5th, Jinneng Clean Energy Limited laid the cornerstone of its 500MW solar cell and 600MW solar module project in Wenshui Economic Development Zone, Lvliang City. Leaders of the group including Wang Jianshe, Bai Lei and Guo Yonghe and relevant leaders of Wenshui County as well as representatives of various participants all attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the project.The 500MW solar cell and 600MW solar module project of Jinneng Clean Energy Limited is Jinneng Group's key move to implement the provincial party committee and provincial government's requirement of "Achieving Low-Carbon Development of High-Carbon Resources, Green Development of Black Coals and Cyclic Development of Resource-Based Industry". By incorporating the geographic advantage and resource superiority of Wenshui County, relying on the large-scale photovoltaic power station under development, aiming at the strategic pointcut in the "Defoaming" phase of the photovoltaic industry and introducing a world-leading R&D, operation management team comprised of specialists recruited by "The Recruitment Program of Global Experts", PhDs returned from U.S.A. and domestic talents working in photovoltaic profession, the project will certainly add new highlights to Jinneng Group's road to a comprehensive energy corporation.

With a first phase investment of 1.1 billion yuan, a floor space of 263 mu and a gross area of 90, 000 square meters, the project is looking to achieve an annual production capacity of 500MW of solar cells and 600MW of solar modules, a polycrystalline cell efficiency greater than 18% and strive to form one of the most technically- and cost-competitive advanced productivity of solar cells and modules that could edge into the world's top 5%.
