Jinergy Achieved Mass Production of Fair-price 270W High Efficiency Modules

Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Limited ( hereinafter referred to as "Jinergy" ) announced that the average efficiency of its mass production high efficiency polycrystalline solar cells had reached 18.45%, and the beginning of mass production of 270W polycrystalline modules , which reached the standard set at 16.5% by the "Frontrunner" Plan of the National Energy Administration. 

"We are very proud to share our latest achivements, which help us bring more clean solar energy to  thousands of households." Said Dr. Yang Liyou, the General Manager of Jinergy, "With the efforts from our technical team and the trust and support from our partners, we have achieved mass production of polycrystalline modules with an output power of 270W. The average mass production effeciency of the cells is 18.45% and their highest efficiceny is 18.84%."

Jinergy has built a factory with annual production capacity of 500MW solar cells and 600MW solar modules, and the efficiency of its polycrystalline cells had reached more than 18% on average at the beginning of production September 2014. It's estimated that mass production of polycrystalline cells with an average efficiency of 19% will be achieved in 2016.

With the advantage of a world-leading R&D, operation management team comprising of specialists recruited by "The Recruitment Program of Global Experts", PhDs returned from U.S.A. and domestic talents in photovoltaic profession and through accurate technical route planning, optimized capacity allocation and efficient operation management, the company planned to built a world's top 5% most technically- and cost-competent cell and module manufacturing base.

Dr Yang Liyou said, "In the future, we will maintain our core competence of the most cost-effective cells and modules and be a good 'Frontrunner' of the industry through continual technical innovation, lean control of production as well as introduction of the latest equipment."

 

According to the PV "Frontrunner" special plan mentioned in Opinions on Exploiting Market Effect to Promote Progress of PV Technology and Industrial Upgrading ( Draft for Comment ) issued by the National Energy Administration in February, the conversion efficiency of polycrystalline solar modules produced by advanced "Frontrunner" should reach over 16.5% in 2015.
