Wind vane of high quality modules: Jinergy's products show an anti-PID performance 5 times better than the industry average
Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Limited ( hereinafter referred to as "JINERGY" ) recently announced that both of its high efficiency polycrystalline PV modules, JNMP60 and JNMP72 had passed the strict anti-PID tests performed by a third-party detection institution as well as the clients' laboratory, which had broken through the average power degradation of 5% in the industry. Both modules had achieved a power degradation of less than 1%, which meant that Jinergy had greatly increased its average anti-PID standard, and also had become the wind vane of low PID performance of the PV industry again since the mass production of modules which reached the standards of "Top-runner" Plan of National Energy Administration.
According to the test report, the power degradation of JNMP 72-310, the 310W polycrystalline module, was 0.73% and 0.74% after 100 hours and 300 hours, respectively under the test conditions of "Dual 85" (i.e. temperature: 85℃; relative humidity: 85%).
The general manager of Jinergy, Dr. Yang Liyou believed that during the 25-year service life of PV systems, the potential induced degradation ( PID ) issue of PV modules becomes increasingly prominent as the environment changes and time goes by. It has become one of the critical factors that the capital market needs to take into account while entering the PV industry and calculating the investment return.
He introduced, "We are very honored to have passed the tests from the certification bodies. It's a certification of the quality of our fair-price high efficiency products and a guarantee for the future profits of our clients' power plants. Objectives including maximally reducing the clients' costs, leading the highest standards in the industry and edging into the world's top 5% advanced capacity are all our main concerns during the capacity planning."
Jinergy has set its goal of becoming the world's most competitive PV manufacturer. It make plans by targeting the most advanced mass-produced PV manufacturing technology in the world with its key processing equipment leading the world's average by 1~2 generations and over half of its equipment are used in large-scale production in China for the first time; achieve total automation in the cell and module workshops and reduce its work force to a third of the industry average.
According to the feedback from its partners, the power grades of Jinergy's PV modules are 10~15W higher than the industry average compared to the modules with an industry average PID of 5%. There is no doubt that using Jinergy's PV modules would enable power plants to make more profits.
