JINERGY Wins "Chinese Green and Efficient Enterprise--Growth Potential Prize" at International Carbon-Value Award by World Economic and Environmental Conference
The 5th International Carbon-Value Award Revealed Photovoltaic Leader JINERGY Won Growth Potential Prize
On January17, the World Economic and Environmental Conference (WEC) Annual Meeting on Green and Low-Carbon Transformational Development and International Carbon-Value Award (2015), co-sponsored by International Energy Conservation Environmental Protection Association (IEEPA), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was held in Beijing; and as the representative of the leaders in China's photovoltaic module manufacturing, Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Ltd. ("JINERGY") successfully gained "Chinese Green and Efficient Enterprise--Growth Potential Prize" of International Carbon-Value Award (2015). According to Dr. YANG Liyou, General Manager of JINERGY, this is not only the recognition for Chinese photovoltaic enterprises but also the international society’s continuous focus on and recognition for the contribution of the photovoltaic industry to low carbon and environmental protection.
Materials reveal that an enterprise winner of "Chinese Green and Efficient Enterprise--Growth Potential Prize" should have the cohesion mode to form core competitiveness and the ability to realize or open a path for its own advantaged technical products and services, actively build and strengthen the innovative capacity, employ a new developmental mode, make good use of comparative advantages to accumulate strengths, get the utmost out of late-mover advantages, be able to change future growth potential into practical increase rate, and make efforts for green benefit and social development. Besides, such an enterprise should also own infinite imagination in growth and potentials, provide vivid and vibrant economic blueprint for the market, and become an ambitious economic entity in this era, for creating wealth with persistence and enthusiasm.
According to Dr. YANG Liyou, General Manager of JINERGY, “benefiting from the idea of green development, vigorously advocated by China's '13th Five-year Plan'", the Company, relying upon the leading efficient polycrystalline module in the industry to aggressively plan the layout of the clean energy industry, expands emerging modes like finance lease and constantly promotes the development of the Company itself and the photovoltaic industry while supplying customers with efficient modules so as to ensure the long-term stable operation and return on investment of the power station; we also hope to play a role in driving China's ecological civilization construction.”
The Company now has the yearly production capacity of 600MW solar cells and 700MW solar modules and realizes large-scale mass production and delivery of hundreds of megawatts of efficient polycrystalline solar modules, as well as average cell efficiency of 18.6%. The Company has started the production expansion project and is expected to make the capacity of solar cells and modules reach 1.1GW respectively by June 2016.
In the survey and selection activity of International Carbon-Value Award (ICA), targeting “search for the best enterprise performing social responsibility with the green and low-carbon idea”, nearly 100 enterprises both at home and abroad have won this honor since 2011, including Dow Chemical Company, SINOPEC, Baidu, Lenovo Group, New World, BOE, Yili Group, Tongfang Environment, MICOE, GOME, Hisense Kelon, BAC, German Schaeffler, Jingdong Trade, Wantong Real Estate, and China Water Resources.
This year, there are dozens of leading enterprises in various fields both at home and abroad, which become the candidates, including Ping An Insurance Company of China, China Eastern Airlines, Guodian Technology & Environment Group, and Yintai.
