On 24 June 2016, a delegation headed by LI Jiansheng, Board Director and member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party, and represented by leaders from related departments and branch companies visited JINERGY Industry 4.0 Intelligent Fab in Wenshui County, Lvliang City. Dr. YANG Liyou, General Manager of JINERGY, LI Yonghui, Deputy General Manager of JINERGY, and QIAO Kai, Marketing Director of JINERGY, received and accompanied the delegation and introduced JINERGY’s development strategy and technical route in details.

Dr. YANG Liyou welcomed the delegation with warm and sincere greetings on behalf of JINERGY. In recent years, JINERGY has strictly followed the rolling development strategy of “production, research & development and reserve” and orderly promoted the construction of high-end and intelligent PV manufacturing plants, in order to strongly support the supply-side reform in the energy sector, ultimately achieve the energy structure transition from “black to green”, and successfully drive the transformation and upgrading of PV equipment manufacturing in Shanxi Province.

According to QIAO Kai, the production line of 285Wp high-efficiency PERC PV modules, a key object for this visit and an achievement of Jinneng’s core strategy, is expected to greatly ease the shortage of high-efficiency PV modules. The high-efficiency PERC monocrystalline PV modules  adopt PERC+ and atomic layer deposition technologies to effectively reduce the Light Induced Degradation (LID) of cells and PV modules, with an average conversion efficiency of 21% and a lower LID rate compared to conventional monocrystalline and PERC technology. 

After the visit, both parties exchanged with each other and deeply discussed the energy sector transformation of the province and universally regard clean energy as the top priority for future development. LI Jiansheng stated that, in the past ten years, overcapacity was a serious problem for the coal industry due to its extensive development. “As a result, coal enterprises were facing increasingly greater risks in business operation. We shall resolutely cut outdated overcapacities and develop clean energy represented by PV. While the detailed technical-route planning, optimized capacity allocation and high-efficiency operation & management of JINERGY leaves us a deep impression.”

YANG Liyou expressed that JINERGY is willing to share its abundant experience in energy sector transformation to promote further exchange on clean energy projects, achieve mutual benefits based on complementary advantages, and facilitate the energy sector transformation of the whole province.
