JINERGY Introduced High-Efficiency PV Modules to Mumbai on the Occasion of Shanxi Brands Marching into Indian Market through the Silk Road

“Silk Road Economic Belt” and “One Belt and One Road” initiatives proposed by President XI Jinping in September 2013 furnish Chinese enterprises a good beginning to go abroad and achieve further integration with the global economy. Today, the longest economic corridor with the greatest development potential on the earth, “Silk Road Economic Belt”, attracts local enterprises in Shanxi to seek for much communication and cooperation with foreign countries along the economic corridor with technological innovation as supports.

On 15 November, Shanxi Brands on the Silk Road (India) and The 14th China Products (Mumbai India) Exhibition 2016 was held at Bombay Exhibition Centre. Jinneng Clean Energy Technology Ltd. (JINERGY), a leading PV module manufacturer in Shanxi, introduced JNMP60 high-efficiency polycrystalline solar PV modules on the exhibition, which won the company universally great praise as well as laid a sound foundation for further clean energy exchange and cooperation between Shanxi and countries along the “One Belt and One Road”.

India is in rich of solar resources and known as a major market of solar energy investment worldwide. Prime Minister of India Modi has released an ambitious 100GW PV Development Planning in 2014 to make up the shortfall in power, namely an overall capacity of 100GW solar installations in India by 2022, including a 40GW rooftop solar project. Relative data shows that the capacity of newly added solar installations in India has reached 5400MW in 2016, India turning out to be the world’s fourth largest solar market.

In the face of the enormous potential of PV market in India, JINERGY aims to join in the great PV construction efforts of India by introducing its leading high-efficiency PV projects. Since its establishment, JINERGY has always strictly followed the rolling R&D strategy  of “production, research & development and reserve”, and has successfully achieved the mass production of three types of high-efficiency power generation products, high-efficiency polycrystalline PV modules, high-efficiency PERC monocrystalline PV modules and super high-efficiency HJT PV modules. JINERGY’s PV modules have been exported to and were well-received in India, Pakistan, Mexico, Australia, Brazil and many other foreign countries, by virtue of the company’s global layout and magnificent strength in technological research, development and innovation.

JNMP60 high-efficiency polycrystalline PV module exhibited in India has adopted 4 bus-bar design and double printing cell technology. Therefore, it has excellent performance in resistance to PID and salt mist, and could withstand 5400Pa snow and 2400 Pa wind loads. Currently, the output rate of 270W high-efficiency PV modules through mass production has reached nearly 80% and that of 275W high-efficiency polycrystalline PV modules will surpass 30% by 2016 Q4.

It is learned that JINERGY will focus on improving the mass production of high-efficiency PERC monocrystalline PV modules and super high-efficiency HJT PV modules while maintaining a normal capacity for conventional high-efficiency polycrystalline cells and modules. The total production of high-efficiency and super high-efficiency PV modules of JINERGY is estimated to exceed 3GW by the end of 2018.

PV industry in India enjoyed a rapid growth under the stimulation of favorable policies in recent years. JINERGY and many Chinese enterprises have observed the huge market opportunities in India on account of its generous fiscal subsidies and abundant demands for power stations. Dr. YANG Liyou, General Manager of JINERGY, stated that JINERGY not only presented China’s cutting-edge technology of high-efficiency PV power generation, but also hoped to discover new cooperation opportunities with India enterprises, in order to further promote energy sector transformation in Shanxi.

Since 2015, Shanxi Brands on the Silk Road have been successfully held in many foreign countries, covering South Korea, Australia, Germany, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Italy, Thailand, and Poland.
